I’m coming to Lancaster for the fair in September. Can you tell me where the trail starts in Lancaster. Can you ride on any roads in town to get to the trail ?

      Hi Steve:

The town will be pretty busy during the fair. If you are staying in town
at any of the hotels you’ll be able to ride the roads to the trail. In short,
Rt 3 from just past the 2/3 intersection going into town (Going North down the hill),
to just past the Route 3/2 intersection in front of F.B. Spauldings is open to ATV’s sharing the road. There
are select side roads that are marked that will connect you to the Ride the Wilds
trail system via Page Hill Road. You can pretty much get to almost any business
in town, and pretty soon you’ll be able to take a trail all the way to the campground
      at the bridge.

Unfortunately, as far as I know we don’t have any ATV trails open directly to the Cabot, but you
could trailer into town, park in one of several areas, and be off and on the trail.

So, If I trailer to Lancaster, where can I park for the day and ride the Wilds Trail?

You can park right next to Dalton Mountain Motorsports in the parking lot there. They have new maps there. From there
you can head up through Groveton and connect to the rest of the system.

There is a trail behind it that goes to the Campground, but if you are legally tagged in NH you
can ride down the road in town and follow the signs (To summer Street then Page Hill Road) to get
to the trails. Make sure you don’t go past where the shared road ends.
